ThorSport Racing and Southern Off-Road Specialists (SORS) are pleased to introduce the all-new TSport dealership vehicle package for the four-wheel-drive truck market. The TSport brand was borne out of the companies’ mutual passion for high-performance trucks, and recognition of “incredible market demand for them,” says Jason Hedlesky, ThorSport Racing’s director of business development.
“TSport trucks feature some of the most aggressive styling on the market and a slew of real performance enhancing upgrades to match,” says SORS owner Adam Richmond. “Each truck that features a TSport package has a specifically tailored set of components picked to best enhance the style and performance of that make and model,” he adds.
Partnerships with key aftermarket suppliers “allow us to gain direct influence with their R&D and engineering groups,” Richmond says. “By closely aligning with these manufacturers, we ensure every up-fit modification conforms with manufacturers’ guidelines, state and federal guidelines, and all federal motor vehicle safety standards.”
The first TSport performance packages debuted in June at the NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, on two Toyota Tacomas. Each featured FOX coilovers and Element HardParts tubular upper control arms; Nitto Ridge Grappler tires; Fuel Off-Road wheels; RIGID LED fog lights; a Warn winch; a Fab Fours bumper-mount system; and a BuiltRight bed-rack system.
The introduction of the TSport brand comes as ThorSport Racing, the longest tenured team in the NASCAR Truck Series, celebrates its fifth national driver’s championship, with Ben Rhodes taking home the 2021 season trophy.
